Festivity of All Saints:
vision of Paradise
When we hear to speck about the heavenly church we are perplexed because we do not have referable points to find with our understanding.
St. Augustin said "We can not separate the earthly church from the heavenly church".
Infact the liturgy calls the day of death "Dies Natalis" which is the moment we wíl) be borne to the eternal beatidude, because as St. Gregory the Great says "The Holy church has two lives : one earthly life and another eternal life."
The pagans that dici not have the concept of eternal life they had as a base of their existence the "Carpe Diem" that is "try to enjoy in every way this earthely life because after death everything will be over".
How sublime is our faith that reminds us the words of Jesus Christ who before returning definitively to God our Father said "I will prepare a piace for each one of you".
Let us conquere it with a honest and correct life with acceptance of daily problems; only in this way we wili be one day together with the saints in the eternal beatitude.
Lord help us to understand that the true realization is the one we become Saints; that we may be sustained on our way towards the heavenly City and help me to overcome the difficultys of daily life.
